The Life of WILLIAM H MINGLES
Bill Mingles, 61, of 3026 Wright St., died of a heart attack Saturday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Mingles was born in Chariton and had lived in Des Moines since 1959. He had also lived in the Knoxville area. He was a salesman for Cahokia Flower Co. and had worked as a salesman for Mark Wells distributing for 22 years. He was a Marine Corps Veteran of World War II and a member of the Iowa and National Bakers Associations.
Survivors include his wife, Betty J.; two daughters, Jo Weidmann of Norwalk, and deloris Middleswart of Indianola; a son, Bill Jr. of West Des Moines; a sister, Betty Smith of Des Moines; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
