The Life of HARVEY W KEMPTON
Harvey W. Kempton, 97, of Mechanicsburg, PA, died of a respiratory ailment Saturday at Country Meadows Nursing Home there, where he had lived two years.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Saylorville Baptist Church in Des Moines. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Kempton was born in Des Moines and had lived there many years before moving to Punta Gorda, FL, 32 years ago. He moved to Pennsylvania two years ago.
He was a retired tool crib operator with Deere & Co. in Ankeny.
He is survived by his wife, Beulah; and two children, Wendell of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Mardell Cross of Dallas Center.
Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Des Moines is handling arrangements.
