The Life of BETHINE L ANDERSON

Bethine Anderson, 91, of Ankeny died of heart failure Thursday at Mill Pond Retirement Community there. Funeral services will be at 10 am Monday at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Peru, IA, and had lived in the Altoona and Des Moines areas for most of her life. She had worked as an office manager at Bankers Life. She was a member of Berwick Congregational Church, a past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Prinicipal Retirement Club. She enjoyed antiques, writing poetry, traveling and her pets.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett.

The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 pm today at the funeral home. Memorial contributations may be made to her church.
