The Life of LEROY O ANDERSON

LeRoy O Anderson, 73, of 6882 NE 56th St., Altoona, died of a cerebral hemorrhage Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 11 am Thursday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Anderson was born in Des Moines and lived in Altoona and Des Moines all his life. He was a farmer and the co-owner of Country Living Mobile Home Park in Altoona and he was a member of Berwick United Church of Christ, King David Masonic Lodge and Altoona Chamber of Commerce. Survivors include his wife, Virginia; three sons, Gary Palmer and Lee, both of Altoona; and Steve Palmer of Baltimore, Md.; three daughters, Debra Norton and Peggy Walker, both of Altoona, and Audrey Parks of Riverside, Calif.; two brothers, Everett and Wayne, both of Altoona; two sisters, Viola Peterson of Lakeland, Fla., and Hellen Warren of Altoona; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 10 am today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church or the Myesthenia Gravis Foundation.
