The Life of GARNET M WHITE
Garnet M. White, 90, of Crystal Manor Care Center, 2501 24th St., died of a heart ailment there Thursday. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, and burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. White, a retired waitress, was born in Sulphur Springs, KY., and lived in Des Moines 43 years.
She is survived by a son, Robert of Des Moines; a daughter, Kathryn Lee Gray of Albuquerque, NM; a brother, Bud Johnston of Owensboro, KY; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
