The Life of DELORIS H SURBER

Deloris H Surber, 83, of Indianola died of a stroke Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Indianola of which she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines. Mrs. Surber was born in Des Moines and had lived in Indianola since 1948. She was a homemaker and had worked for Rollins Hosiery Mill in Des Moines. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 338 and enjoyed playing the violin and camping. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd; a son, Marvin, and a daughter, Janis Parker, both of Indianola; a brother, Marvin Randleman of Loveland, CO; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial lunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church prior to the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or her Order of the Eastern Star chapter.>>
