The Life of CAROL BETH SEARCY
Mrs. Beth Searcy, 30, of 3756 SE Twelfth St., died of cancer Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center after an eight-month illness.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Searcy, a native of Roswell, NM had lived in Des Moines since the age of nine. She was a graduate of the American Institute of Business and a member of the Douglas Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Luckey; two sons, Jeffrey and William, both at home; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Don Grant; and two brothers, Michael Grant and Dean Grant, all of Des Moines; and her grandparents, Mrs. & Mrs. Louis Thatcher of Oskaloosa.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
