The Life of KENNETH PAUL HEGGEN
Services for Kenneth Heggen, 71, of 1220 E Ovid Ave. will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Grandview Lutheran Church, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Heggen died of cancer Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center.
Born in Eagle Grove, Mr. Heggen lived in Des Moines for 45 years. He was a retired postal carrier and a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers.
Survivors include his wife, Frances; two daughters, Alice Romans of Ankeny and Ruth Ann Hughes of West Des Moines; a sister, Alma Severeid of Muscatine, a brother, Sam Heggen of Quincy, IL, and four grandchildren.
The family suggests that any memorials be made to the Grandview Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at Dahlstrom''s Funeral Home.
