The Life of GRACE MARIE JOHNSRUD
Grace Marie Barnes Johnsrud, 80, of 6237 NW 70th Ave., Johnston, died of a heart ailment Saturday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnsrud was born in Schley on her family farm, where she worked in the family business, Schley Cheese Co. She was also a homemaker and member of Holy Cross Parish in Schley, where she was a sacristan and member of the Rosary Society.
She is survived by two sons, Leon of Johnston and T.J. of Conrad; a daughter, Linda Johnsrud Gebhardt of Johnston; a sister, Clara Polascheck of Harmony, MN; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home,where a vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or Sisters of Mercy.
