The Life of ALTA MAE MICKESH
Alta M. "Mickey" Michesh, 82, of Regency Care Center in Norwalk died of a lung ailment Friday at Mercy Hosptial Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Southtown Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Mickesh was born in Buffalo, MO, and had lived in Marshalltown before moving to Des Moines 65 years ago. She had been a homemaker and a member of Clifton Heights Presbyterian Church, Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Redman Club.
Survivors include her husband, George; a daughter, Dolores "Mic" Smith of Des Moines; three sons, George of Des Moines, Clarence of San Jose, CA and Joseph of Pamona Park, FL; two sisters, Melva Schultz and Ada Antomori of Des Moines; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home and until service time on Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
