The Life of ALBERT J DANIELS

Services for Albert J. Daniels, 69, of 1700 E Thirteenth St., who died Saturday at his home of cancer after a 7-month illness, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.

Mr. Daniels was born in Yorkshire, England, and lived in Des Moines for 50 years.  A bricklayer for 43 years, he later owned and operated the new Lake Side Inn Resort at Mille Lacs Lake, MN, for 14 years.

He was a member of and former business agent for Local 2 of the Bricklayers Union.  He also was a member of United Commercial Travelers, the Des Moines Civil Service Commission and the Loyal Order of Moose.

Survivors include his wife, Inger; a stepson, Harold Schmidt of Des Moines; three daughters, Mrs. Agnes Gonder and Mrs. JoAnne Pinneke, both of Des Moines, and Mrs. Virginia Hammond of Minnespolis, MN; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Speck and Mrs. Betty Webb, both of Des Moines, Mrs. Margaret Gillen of Minneapolis, MN, and Mrs. Edith Brown of Glendale, AZ; two brothers, Charles and Sam, both of Des Moines 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchldren.
