Services for George E. Warne, 56, of 3304 E. Thirty-fifth St., who died of a heart attack Monday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be Thursday noon at Hamilton''''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Warne, a lifelong Des Moines resident, was ill three weeks. He was employed at Jobbers Supply Co. and formerly worked for General Motors.
Surviving are his wife, Irene; his mother, Mrs. Emma Warne of Des Moines; two sons, Ronald L. of Des Moines, and William B. of Iowa City; a daughter, Barbara J. Warne; a brother, Robert; and a sister, Mrs. Edith Pierick, all of Des Moines; and three grandchildren.
