The Life of CHANCY LEON WAYCHOFF

Services for Chancy L Waychoff, 72, of 3940 E Fourteenth St., who died of pneumonia Sunday at Broadlawns Polk County Hospital, will be at 3 pm Wednesday at Arnold's Highland Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. A native of Audubon County, Mr. Waychoff had lived in Des Moines 31 years. He was a carpenter before retiring in 1950 and previously farmed 15 years in Dickinson County. He was a member of the Mount Zion Evangelical Church in Audubon County and the carpenters union. Surviving are two sons, Harlan of Cedar Rapids and Glenn of Des Moines; five daughters, Mrs. Arthella Rasmussen, Mrs. Laurene Peterson, Mrs. Loine Haire and Bonnie Staehli of Des Moines and Mrs. Thelma Zwiefel of Clarion; a sister, Mrs. Dollie MacRunnells of Spirit Lake; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
