The Life of ROGER HUNTER BURDOCK

Roger H. Burdock, 100, of Park Ridge, Ill., died of a heart ailment Saturday at St. Matthew Lutheran Home there.  Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church in Des Moines, of which he was a member.  Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Burdock was born in Oskaloosa and lived most of his life in Des Moines until moving to Park Ridge in 1990.  He worked as a contact officer for Veterans Medical Center until he retired in 1960.  He was an Army veteran of World War I.

Survivors include, two daughters, Margeann Ahnquist of Bella Vista, Ark. and Carolyn Lack of Arlington Heights, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit the family at the church after 10 a.m. Tuesday.  Dahlstrom''''s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
