The Life of CORA B BRIGHTMAN
Services for Cora B. Brightman, 87, of 3518 Fifty-seventh St., who died of a heart attack Sunday at home, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Merle Hay Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Brightman was born in Dedham and moved to Des Moines 30 years ago. She was a graduate of the former Highland Park College. She was a retired school teacher and was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church and Acanthus Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, E. Don; a son, James P. Imlay of Anamosa; a daughter, Helen Sliefert of Storm Lake, and three grandchildren.
