The Life of DENNIS L TOMPKINS
Dennis L. Tompkins, 41, 1020 SE Marion St., died of a heart attack Wednesday at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hamilton''''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Tompkins was born in Des Moines and returned eight years ago from Colorado. He was co-owner of Four Seasons Janitorial and Carpet Care Co., and a member of the Lutheran Church.
Among survivors are his wife, Betty; a daughter, Sarah Tompkins, and a son, Scott, both of Ames; two stepsons, Patrick Kenworthy and Tony Kenworthy, both of Des Moines; his mother and stepfather, Vera and James Parrott, and two brothers, Wayne and Norman, all of Aurora, CO.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m.
