The Life of IRA ALVIN ENGLAND

Graveside services for Ira A. (Gabe) England, 69, of Anderson, MO, formerly of Des Moines and Panora will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. England, who died of cancer Saturday in Anderson, was born in Horton, KS, and had been an Anderson resident 20 years.  Prior to that, he lived in Panora 10 years and Des Moines several years earlier.

A retired real estate and insurance salesman, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star in Anderson.

Surviving are his wife, Leone of Anderson; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Bever of Woodward and Mrs. Barbara White of Des Moines; two sons, Byron of Osceola, and James of Council Bluffs; his mother, Mrs. Anna England of Topeka, KS; five sisters, Mrs. Rose McCaw of Los Angeles, CA, Mrs. Beulah Edwards and Mrs. Edna Barnes, both of Topeka, and Mrs. Essie Barrett and Mrs. Clara Russell, both of Holton, KS.

The body will be at Hamilton''s Funeral Home here after 5 p.m. Tuesday.
