The Life of STEPHEN EUGENE WOOD
Stephen E. Wood, 31, of 381 Fagen Drive, died Wednesday of injuries he received in an automobile accident at the intersection of Northwest 102nd Avenue and Northwest Twenty-sixth Street. Services will be at 1 pm Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church and burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Des Moines, Mr. Wood was a supervisor at ARA Service of Des Moines. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Diana K.; two sons, Tom and Jeff, both at home; mother and stepfather, Patricia and Fred Bursiek of Des Moines; father, Vernon of Edinburg, Texas; four brothers, Greg and Mark, both of Des Moines, Robert Pace of Des Moines, and David Wood of Edinburg, and a sister, Shirley Hale of Des Moines.
The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
