The Life of JAMES F SACKS
James F. Sacks, 56, of 62 NW 68th Place, Ankeny, died of a heart attack Sunday at home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Sacks was born in Omaha and moved to the Des Moines area in 1970. He was a roofing division sales manager at Stetson Building Products for 14 years and had served in the Army. He was a member of Scottish Rite Temple, Acanthus Masonic Lodge and Za-Ga-Zig Shrine Temple.
Survivors include a daughter, Karrie Sacks of Mount Pleasant; two brothers, Jack and Joel, and a sister, Joyce Thompson, all of Omaha; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Ducks Unlimited or Ponca Hills Volunteer Fire Department in Omaha.
