The Life of CHRIS HENSON BOWEN

Cjhris Henson Bowen, 60, of 709 Seneca Ave. died of cancer Saturday at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be at 1p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Bowen was born in Algona and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. he retired as a meter reader for Iowa Power and Light., after 30 years there. He was a navy veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, Carlene; a daughter, Karen Mutchler, four sons, Gary, Dave, Chris and Steven, a step-son, Eric Beem, all of Des moines; and nine granchildren..Friends may call from noon until services time today at the funeral home.
