The Life of VIRGLE A GRIPP

Services for Virgle A. Gripp, 64, of 2925 E. Walnut St., who died Sunday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital after an 11-day illness, will be at noon Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Gripp, a native of St. Charles, had lived in Des Moines for 30 years, and previously in New Virginia.  He was a route man for Duncan Sanitary Supply Co. at the time of his death, and previously had been a maintenance supervisor for J. C. Penney Co. for 22 years.

He was a member of Grandview Park Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Lillian A.; three sons, Merrill of Indianola, Doyle of Chariton, and Charles of Des Moines; two brothers, Ernest Gripp of Minneapolis, MN, and Harold of Osceola; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Holcomb of Indianola, and seven grandchildren.
