The Life of JOHN WILLIAM STEPHENSON
Services for John W. Stephenson, 63, of 2814 E. Fortieth St., a retired deputy bailiff of the Des Moines Municipal Court, will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph''s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Stephenson died Saturday in Gray Eagle, MN, of a cerebral hemorrhage. A lifetime resident of Des Moines, Mr. Stephenson was a member of the Holy Name Society, the Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Josephine; daughters, Mrs. Robert Young of Des Moines and Mrs. David Hoff of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Schaeffer of El Monte, CA and Mrs. Al Andre of Des Moines; three brothers, Wilber of San Jose, CA, Fred of Park Forest, IL, and Raymond of Wichita, KS; and five grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at the Conley Capitol Hill Funeral Home.
