The Life of KELSEY RAE BITTING
Kelsey Rae Bitting, 20, of 2525 Clarkson Ave. died of gunshot wounds Friday at home. The death is under investigation as a homicide. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A lifelong Des Moines resident, she was a graduate of Hoover High School.
Among survivors are a daughter, Taylor Rae Hauser of Des Moines; her mother, Claudia O''Connor of Des Moines, her father and stepmother, Joe and Chrys Bitting of Urbandale; a brother, Anthony Allen of Des Moines; a step brother, Ricky Bitting, and a step sister, Amber Bitting both of Urbandale; and her grandmother, Elma Allen of Des Moiens.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.
