The Life of RUTH BERNICE EARLL MORRIS
Ruth Berniece Morris, 77, of the 2700 block of Easton Blvd died of cancer Tuesday at home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Morris was born in Des Moines and had lived in Wisconsin, Kansas City and Virginia before returning here, where she had lived most of her life. She was a secretary with Armstong Tire and Rubber Co. and had worked for Helzberg''s Jewelry before retiring. She was a member of Grandview Park Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling and her grandchldren''s activities.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; a son, Grant Earll of Altoona; a step-daughter, Beverly "Boots" Clark of Carlisle; a brother, Robert Jackson of California; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa or her church.
