The Life of THOMAS F MORRIS

Thomas F. Morris, 90, of Carlisle Care Center died of congestive heart failure Saturday at Hospice Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemtery. Mr. Morris had lived in the Des Moines area all his life. He was a retired truck driver and warehouse worker for Institutional Wholesale Grocery, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Teamsters Union Local 90 and Grandview Park Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening and golfing. He is survived by a stepson, Grant Earll of Altoona; a stepdaughter, Beverly Clark of Des Moines; two sisters, Bonita York of Indianola and Guin Taggart of Burton, MI; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wives, Dorothy and Ruth. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
