The Life of MELVIN STARK
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home for Melvin "Mel" Stark, 60, who died of a kidney ailment Friday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Burial wil be in Highland Memory Gardens.
A lifelong Des Moines resident, Mr. Stark managed the tool crib at The Waldinger Corporation. He belonged to Teamsters Local 90, Home Masonic Lodge and Za-Ga-Zig Shrine and was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include three daughters, Sheila Cohen of Winston-Salem, NC, Cheryl Van Cleave of Colfax and Wende Simmons of Gainsville, FL; and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call after service time today at the funeral home.
