The Life of ROBERT E WAMPLER
Robert E. Wampler, 60, of 2105 Thirty-fifth St., died of cancer Sunday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center after a two-month illness.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A Des Moines native Mr. Wampler attended Iowa State University and was a vice-president at Economy Forms Corporation. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Acanthus Lodge 632, the Des Moines Consistory and the Az-Ga-Zig Shrine.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Robert Jr. of Green Bay, WI, and Richard of Iowa City; a sister, Jeanne Frisbey of Fort Isabel, TX; and two grandchildren.
