The Life of ROBERT CLAIR ROGERS III

Robert C. Rogers, 43, of 3106 E 42nd Court died Wednesday at Des Moines General Hosptial of complications of a stroke.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph''s Catholic Church, and burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Rogers was born in Spencer and lived in Des Moines most of his life.  He was a salesman with Horton Quarry Supply Co., and had been a member of St. Joseph''s Catholic Church and the Elks Club in Pleasant Hill.  He also was a former coach and board member of Fairgrounds Little League.

Surviving are his wife, Michele; three sons, Bob, Nathan and Colin, all at home; his mother, Joan Dingman, and a brother, Chris, both of Des Moines; and three sisters, Nanette Host of Carlisle, Calista Wingrt of Sioux City, and Renee Rogers of Des Moines.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home, where the family will greet friends Sunday from 5 pm. until a 7 p.m. vigil service.  Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
