The Life of THOMAS ANDREW LYONS
Thomas "Jay" A. Lyons, 60, of 5363 N.E. Tenth St., died of a heart attack Monday at Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Des Moines, Mr. Lyons was a retired truck driver for Bekins Van Lines. He was a member of Airport Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; a son, David A. of Des Moines; a daughter, Patricia Dearden of Des Moines; a sister, Norma McGrew of Des Moines; a brother, Jack of Des Moines; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the funeral home.
