The Life of DONALD C HICKS
Services for Donald C. Hicks, 78, of 1419 Thirty-third St., who died of comgestive heart failure Thursday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Westover Fuenral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Hicks was born in Des Moines where he lived all his life. He was retired in 1962 as the owner-operator of Quality Cleaners. He was a member of United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel; a daughter Patricia Thorpe of Sunrise Beach, MO; a stepbrother, Milton Coon of Des Moines; three granddaughters; and six great-grandsons.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Westover Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Des Moines Area Religious Council.
