The Life of ROBERT B HARTUNG
Services for Robert B Hartung, 79, of Heather Manor, 600 E 5th St., who died Wednesday at the home of cancer, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
Mr. Hartung was a former owner and officer of Caldwell-Hartung Inc., a trucking company, and a member of Union Park United Methodist Church. He was a lifelong resident of Des Moines.
Survivors include his wife, Edythe; two sons, Roger of Des Moines and Jack of Alexandria, VA.; two sisters, Louise Yoders of Berwick and Mrs. Burton Knouf of Des Moines; two brothers, John and Vernon, both of Des Moines, and seven grandchildren.
The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to the YMCA camp or Union Park United Methodist Church.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
