The Life of MARY F CARLSON

Mary F. Carlson, 69, of 6616 Elmcrest Dr. died of emphysema Sunday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Carlson was a lifelong Des Moines resident and a homemaker.  She was a member of the Lutheran church and American Lung Association Support Group.

Survivors include her husband, Arnold; a son, David of Des Moines; a daughter, Trudy Carlson of Stephensville, TX; five brothers, Phil Caldbeck and Robert Caldbeck, both of Indiana, and Wendell Caldbeck, Jim Caldbeck and Tom Caldbeck, all of Des Moines; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Dahlstrom Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to her church or the American Lung Association.
