The Life of HERMAN J EHLERS
Herman John Ehlers, 91, of the 2400 block of East Sheridan Avenue, died of leukemia Monday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter''s Catholic Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Ehlers was born in Manilla and had lived in Des Moines since 1938. He was a retired form setter and cement finisher.
He is survived by a son, Josephy of Des Moines; and a sister, Marie Terwilleger of Manilla.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, where a vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
