The Life of SYLVIA L EHLERS
Sylvia L. Ehlers, 82, of 2422 E Sheridan Ave., died of Alzheimer''s disease Monday at Mercy Hospital Mediacl Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter''s Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Ehlers was born in Omaha, NB, and moved to Des Moines from Manila, IA, 60 years ago. She was a homemaker.
Her husband, Herman, and a son, Joseph, both of Des Moines, survive.
Friends may call between 5 and 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, where a vigil service will be held at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
