The Life of ALBERT CLIFFORD JONES
A.C. (Cliff) Jones, 60, of 2702 Hickman Road, died of a heart ailment Thursday at Iowa Methodist Hospital after a three-year illness.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Hamilton''''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Jones, a lifelong resident of Des Moines, was the retired operator of A.C.Jones Excavating and Grading Co. He was past patron of DeNova Chapter of Order of Eastern Star and member of Moingona Masonic Lodge, Des Moines Consistory, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, Ascalon Chapter, Mount Olivet White Shrine, Elks Lodge, Eagles Lodge, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 234 and the former Forest Avenue Baptist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Marie; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Fredrickson, and a brother, Ernest, both of West Des Moines, and two granddaughters.
