The Life of SHIRLEY RUTH OWENS
Shirley Ruth Owens, 63, of 2125 E. 29th St. died Monday of injuries suffered in an auto accident on US Highway 65-69 near Indianola. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Owens was born in Lineville and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a homemaker.
Among survivors are her husband, Edward; three daughters, Janilla Jordan, Jennifer Owens and Joy Bainter, and two sons, Joseph and Jeffrey, all of Des Moines; a sister, Helen Dyer of Lineville; a brother, Jesse Vinzant of Florida; and eight grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.
