The Life of EVERETT GEORGE HOLLAND
Services for Everett Holland, 72, of 3890 NE Fifty-fourth Pl, who died of cancer Wednesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Dahlstrom Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Holland was born in Elkhart and lived most of his life in Des Moines. He was a retired guard for the state and was a member of Teamsters Union Local 387.
Survivors include his wife, Leone; two sons, Edwin and Richard, both of Des Moines; two daughters, Mary Tavenner of Riverside, CA and Helen Van Scoyk of Des Moines; a brother, Claude of Alleman; two sisters, Hazel Ballard of Collins and Mabel Justice of Bondurant; and 13 grandchildren.
