The Life of LEROY PAUL THOMPSON
Leroy Thompson, 65, of 506 S.W. Leland Ave. died of a stroke Friday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Knoxville. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Thompson, a lifelong resident of Des Moines, retired in 1982 as a maintenance worker for the Iowa Liquor Department.
Survivors include a sister, Anita Toomer of Des Moines, and a brother, Kenneth of Carson City, Calif.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Tonini Funeral Home.
