The Life of RALPH D ELINGS
Ralph D. Elings, 66, of 1910 E. Twelfth St., died of a heart attack Wednesday after a 10-day illness.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Elings, a retired packing-house laborer, was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and a member of St. John''s Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, Clara, two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Daniels of Milwaukee, WI, and Mrs. Karen Frakes of Des Moines; a brother, Russell, and a sister, Mrs. Alda Shaw, both of Des Moines, and six grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to St. John''s Lutheran Church.
