The Life of DOROTHY IRIS PROPER MORGAN
Dorothy Iris (Proper) Morgan, 90, died on Friday, August 5, 2005 in Des Moines. Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 9 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery with visitation one hour prior at the Highland Park Funeral Home.
Dorothy was born December 18, 1914 in Bonaparte, Iowa to Donald and Clara (Johnson) Proper. She married Rich Morgan October 19, 1935 in Ottumwa.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her son, Robert and his wife, Susan Morgan of San Diego, CA; seven grandchildren, Robert, Leanne, Michelle, Cristi, Nicole, Amanda and Sarah; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Irene Burns and Virginia Troutman both of Bonaparte, IA, and Wannabelle Mosier of Muscatine, IA; and three brothers, Worthy Proper of Oceanside, CA, Carl Proper of Donnellson, IA, and Donald Proper of Canton, IL.
Memorials are suggested to the Kavanagh Hospice House on Grand or the American Diabetes Association.
