The Life of WILLIAM OTTO COMITO
Services for William O. Comito, 33, of 1607 S. Union St. will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Comito died Saturday of injuries suffered when a car in which he was a passenger crashed into an embankment on Highway 163, about 3 miles east of Des Moines.
The driver of the car, Harvey C. Pringle, 22, of 1327 E. Twenty-fifth St., suffered a crushed chest and internal injuries. His condition was reported critical Monday at Broadlawns General Hospital.
Born in Des Moines, Mr. Comito had lived here all his life eept for a six-year period in Chicago, IL. He was a plasterer.
Mr. Comito was a member of Operative Plasterers and Cement Masons, Local 21. He attended Lincoln High School and was a World War II veteran.
He is survived by a son, Andy, 13; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Anthony C. Comito, with whom he lived; four sisters, Janice Comito of Des Moines; Mrs. Barbara Wilkerson of Indianola; Mrs. Kay Ames of Norfolk, VA; and Mrs. Virginia Snow of Nashville, TN; and one brother, Ernest Comito of Des Moines.
