The Life of JUANITA MARIE TUCKER
Juanita Marie Tucker, 75, of the 1400 block of Oak Park Avenue died Wednesday at Mercy Medical Center of complications of surgery. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Tucker was born in Boone Township and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a retired equipment manager with Veterans Medical Center and enjoyed baking, sewing and family activities.
She is survived by two sons, Dave Wallukait and Bill Wallukait, both of Des Moines; a sister, Norma Watts of Iowa; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald C.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
