The Life of CLAUDE G PETT
Claude G. Pett, 88, of 3622 Fifth St. died of a heart attack Sunday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Highland Park Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Pett was born in Dow City and had lived in Des Moines since 1941. He retired as owner of Pett Trailer Service.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Bunch of Redondo Beach, CA; a son, Don, and a brother, Lester, both of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
