The Life of BARBARA ANN TUCKER
Barbara Tucker, 78, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Barbara was born on November 2, 1930 in Spartanburg, SC. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Kathy Jo Lynne (Mike Morrison); a sister, Kay (David) Williams; daughter-in-law, Lori Tucker; 2 granddaughters, Kimberly (Travis) and Kristin (Julian) Morgan; 2 grandsons, David Hurley and Billy John (Christian) Tucker; a great grandson and 4 great granddaughters; sister, and many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Bill; parents, Howard and Anne McDowell; son, Billy Tucker; 2 brothers, Doug and Gene (Deenie) McDowell. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation with family present will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to The Iowa State Fair or to the family in loving memory of Barbara Tucker.
