The Life of BETTY JEAN HICKSON
Betty J. Hickson, 65, of 2513 Indianola Road died of cancer Wednesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Hickson, a homemaker, was born in Kellogg and lived in Des Moines most of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; three daughters, Cathy Scheffler, Charla Baker and Neva Michael, a brother, Max Blanchard, and three sisters, Mildred Peterson, Doris Beck and Virginia Mefferd, all of Des Moines; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Hospital oncology department or the American Cancer Society.
