The Life of RICHARD L FINK
Richard L. Fink, 74, of 135 E Seneca Ave., died of a heart attack Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Fink was born in Williams and moved to Des Moines from Dows in 1956. He was a retired laborer with Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. and a Navy Veteran of World War II.
Among survivors are his wife, Marcella; two daughters, Beda Hobbs and Lynette Gallegos, and a son, Paul, all of Des Moines; a brother, George "Bud" of Montezuma; four sisters, Amelia Howard of Dows, Evelyn Hefer and Delores Crawford, both of Iowa Falls, and Dorothy Erickson of Webster City; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
