The Life of JUDITH KATHERINE SCHATZ
Judith "Judy" Katherine Schatz, 43, of 1254 E 25th Court died of a pulmonary embolism Saturday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Galilee Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Schatz was born in Austin, MN, and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a nurse''s aide for Valley View Village and Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Previously, she was a food service worker for the Des Moines schools.
Surviving are her husband, Donald; a daughter, April Joy Schatz; and a son, John Richard, both of Des Moines; and her parents, Norman and Margaret Granquist of Ames.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.
