The Life of CURTIS C SORENSEN
Curtis Sorensen, 73, of Altoona, died of cancer on January 16, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Altoona of which he was a member.
Curt was born August 20, 1930 in Cushing, WI, to Eva and Carl Sorensen. He was employed by Milwaukee Electric Tool as a manufactures representative, as well as owned his own contracting business. He was a member of the Danish Brotherhood, and a very accomplished wood craftsman.
Curt is survived by his wife, Goldie; daughter, Karen Sorensen of Dennison, TX; son, Ross (Cheri) Sorensen of Saylorville; four grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many special friends. Curt was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Marvin.
