The Life of EARL L LAURIDSEN
Earl L. Lauridsen, 61, of the 100 block of Ninth Street SE in Altoona, died of cancer Wednesday at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Lauridsen was born in Des Moines and had lived in Altoona 36 years. He was a retired supervisor with Titan Tire Corp. and a member of Bondurant Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; two daughters, Belinda Lauridsen of Altoona and Michele McKibben of Winerset; a son, Doug of Des Moines; and a grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church or the John Stoddard Cancer Center.
