The Life of RAYMOND WALLACE
Raymond Wallace, 84, died Friday, May 22, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Staves Memorial United Methodist Church, 2747 E. Madison Ave., of which he was a member, followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Raymond was born December 9, 1924 in Des Moines to Albert and Anna May Wallace. He was a welder for Ford Motor Company for 26 years before his retirement in 1971. Raymond is survived by his wife of 63 years, Donna; children, Thomas Wallace, Duane Wallace and Marla Grove, all of the Des Moines area; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be directed to his church.
